Pearls of the Pacific Charity Dinner

Taste the exciting, exotic cuisine of the Pacific Islands: Hawaii, Tahiti,
 Guam, Fiji and the Philippines. Witness and participate in the beautiful culture of this Tropical Para-
dise. Take part in a pulsating, rhythmic celebration of Island Life. Partake of a feast unlike anything you have ever tasted at Serra Hall.

Proceeds will benefit the Knights’ projects for: St. Mary Magdalen and Padre Serra.

MENU:
  • Kalua Pig—A traditional Hawaiian Pork dish .. The pig is seasoned with sea salt, lemongrass and garlic and is cooked slowly for several hours until the meat falls from the bone.. It is pulled apart and served with a Hawaiian barbecue sauce.
  • Chicken Tahiti - Large pieces of chicken cooked to perfection in Lime juice, Onions Pineapple and spices.
  • Chamorro Beef - From Guam, beef strips sautéed in garlic and peppercorns and then braised in beef stock with mushrooms and bell peppers.
  • Fiji Rice - Fragrant jasmine rice cooked with carrots, spring onions and bits of pork .
  • Pancit.- A popular noodle dish made with flour noodles, sautéed with pork and chicken bits, cabbage, carrots and flavored with soy sauce and lemon
  • Tropical Fruit Salad with Coconut milk

Council Corporate Mass

When: Sunday, June 6th, 11am
Where: Padre Sera
Our Worthy Chaplain Fr Preston Passos will be celebrating the Mass and the Latin Mass Choir of St Mary Magdalen will be proving the music.
This will be the Mass of All Souls with a special ceremony during Mass for the faithfully departed of the Council and it will be followed a reception in the Chapel.
It is your duty as a Catholic and your honor as a Knight to attend this Mass if you are at all able to do so.
Finally, we will need some hors d'oeuvres and drinks for the reception. Please contact WPGK John Radomski (504-5132) if you are able to bring some.
